Mountaineers

Come share appetizers, enjoy a delicious potluck dinner, and have a program or activity followed by a short business meeting. Mountaineers are active in the church by serving refreshments during the friendship hour before Worship, sponsoring the decorating and undecorating of the church for the Advent/Christmas Season and sponsoring a "Grubby Work Day and Picnic" at the church.

Mountaineers are also involved in activities helping the community by supporting the Jeffco Action Center, working on the Jeffco Partners for Interfaith Action Habitat for Humanity Home Build (providing lunches and snacks for the workers), participating in the City of Lakewood's "Adopt a "Street" program (Mississippi Avenue from Alameda Parkway to Union Blvd.) and singing Christmas carols at a nursing home.

Mountaineers are also active sponsors of the Heifer Project International, an international organization that helps feed hungry people around the world by helping them produce their own food.
